The MileNettle routine

How MileNettle works

Keep the fleet record current, see what needs attention, and give your team a clear next step for routine maintenance.

A practical five-step flow

From first vehicle to next action.

Start with the fleet records you have, keep readings moving, and use the saved views and reports to plan the work ahead.

  1. 01

    Set up the fleet

Add a vehicle manually or import a UTF-8 spreadsheet. MileNettle records the vehicle name, current mileage, last service date, due date or mileage, and maintenance needs so each vehicle starts with a usable record.

  2. 02

    Keep mileage current

From a vehicle detail, create a one-use driver link. The driver submits the current odometer reading at /mileage/[token] without an account, and MileNettle saves the reading back to that vehicle for the manager.

  3. 03

    Read the status and prioritize

MileNettle compares the saved date and mileage against each vehicle's maintenance thresholds. Use the All, Upcoming, and Due now views, then filter by maintenance category to focus the next conversation.

  4. 04

Record service and prepare the next request

Record completed service on the vehicle detail, then generate a weekly report for due and upcoming work. Open the saved report to review its snapshot and edit a booking-request draft. MileNettle currently prepares and saves the draft; it does not submit a service request to a provider.

  5. 05

Take the fleet record with you

Export the filtered active vehicle list as CSV from the Vehicles workspace. For a print-ready maintenance sheet, open a vehicle detail and choose Print summary.
